Neil Lee

Neil Lee is Professor of Economic Geography at LSE, having previously led a research team in a think-tank. His research focuses on economic development, innovation, and inequality. Author of Innovation for the Masses, he advises governments and international organisations while developing projects on spatial inequality and inclusive growth. He has held visiting positions at Columbia University, the University of Oxford, Science Po Toulouse, and the University of Inland Norway. He is a fellow of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research, an Associate Member of Nuffield College, Oxford, and sits on advisory boards for organisations such as the OECD.
