Claire E. Aubin

Claire E. Aubin is a historian and writer, specialising in histories of violence and contemporary culture. She is a YPSA Postdoctoral Fellow, RITM Faculty Fellow, and Whitney Humanities Center Fellow at Yale University, and holds a PhD and LL.M from the University of Edinburgh. She is also the host and executive producer of Multitude’s This Guy Sucked, named one of Apple Podcasts’ Best New Shows of 2025 and nominated for the 2026 Ambie Award for Best Emerging Podcast. Claire has written for TIME x Made By History, and she and TGS have been featured in a variety of media outlets, including the Guardian, Daily Kos, GZERO, Lifehacker, and PodNews. She is often featured as an expert in a broad spectrum of media, including podcasts, radio, television, and print media. Her first book, The Homeland, publishes with Cambridge University Press in late 2026.
